Balanced XLR outputs, amazing DACs, build like a tank. All I added was a three wire serial terminal (to the already DB-9 provided). Besides the incredible made in USA Build quality and engineering, are the components. For example the display is a VFD, not a cheap LCD. This is a feature they left out of the Krell 7.1 Showcase (my next preamp). Further, the remote for the HTS is milled from a solid block of aluminum. The Showcase is just a cast pot metal case with membrane switches.
